What does TrueView AI do?

TrueView AI gives every product page a trustworthy review, even products that don't have reviews yet. It reads what real buyers already say about each product across the public web — Reddit, expert review sites, and forums — and publishes a clear, sourced AI review on the product page, with a compliant disclosure built in.

How do I get my first review live?

Three steps: (1) Generate — open any product and click Generate Review. (2) Publish — review the result and click Save & Publish. (3) Add the widget — the one-time storefront setup below.

I published a review but it isn't showing on my store. Why?

Publishing makes a review eligible, but it only appears once you add the storefront widget to your theme — a one-time step. In the app, go to Settings → Storefront widget and choose Enable on all product pages (automatic, one click) or Pick a spot manually. After that, every published review appears automatically — you never touch this again.

How reviews work

Where do the reviews come from?

From real, public discussion of your product across the web. If you connect a review platform like Judge.me, TrueView also blends in your own customers' first-party reviews. Reviews are never fabricated — the AI only summarizes evidence that already exists.

Can I edit the review text?

No — and that's deliberate. You can regenerate a review or unpublish it, but you can't rewrite the words. This is what keeps the AI disclosure honest and keeps you compliant: shoppers see exactly what the model produced from real evidence.

A product came back "not enough public discussion." What now?

Some products — private-label or no-name items — have little or no public footprint for the AI to find. Three options: (1) try a more recognizable / brand-name product; (2) click Generate again — web results shift over time, so a second run sometimes succeeds; (3) connect Judge.me so TrueView can use your own customers' reviews instead.

What counts as a "generation"? Does an instant result count?

Each time you click Generate or Regenerate, it uses one generation from your plan's allowance — even if the result appears instantly. Generations on the Free plan are one-time and don't reset; paid plans get a fresh monthly allowance. Publishing, unpublishing, and translating do not use a generation.

Compliance

Is showing AI reviews actually legal?

Yes. Every review on your storefront carries a clear, conspicuous disclosure that it's an AI summary of public sources — satisfying the FTC's 2024 rule on AI-generated content, the EU Digital Services Act, and the UK DMCC Act. The disclosure can't be hidden, recolored, or removed, and the review text is locked from editing, so the disclosure is always true.

Pricing & plans

What does the Free plan include?

AI reviews for up to 3 products, 15 review generations (one-time, they don't reset), no credit card. Compliance disclosure, the theme widget, and all-language translation are included. Automatic monthly refresh, bulk actions, regenerate-on-demand, and Judge.me are on the paid plans.

What happens if I downgrade or switch to Free?

The change takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep the plan you've already paid for until then, reviews included. When it takes effect, reviews above the new plan's product limit are removed; you can regenerate the ones you want within the new limit. You can cancel a scheduled downgrade any time before it takes effect.

Translations & integrations

How do translations work?

TrueView automatically translates each review into every language your storefront sells in — no per-product, per-language work. Shoppers always see the review in their own language.

How do I connect Judge.me?

On the Pro plan, go to Settings → Connect Judge.me and paste your Private API token (found in your Judge.me admin under Settings → Integrations → Private API Token). TrueView then blends your customers' reviews into the AI summary alongside the public web research.
